Organic Maca Root Powder (Lepidium meyenii), HPMC (vegetable capsule), L-arginine, Ashwagandha root extract 6: 1 (Withania somnifera, containing 7% withanolides), Tribulus terrestris extract (containing 40% saponins), zinc carbonate, release agent : Magnesium stearate, Nutmeg powder (Myristica fragrans).

 

Maca - the miracle root of the Incas

Maca is a plant that originates in the Andes Mountains in Peru. Prized by the Incas not only for nutritional properties, Maca was worshipped as a medicine and as an aphrodisiac.

Being cultivated on the plateaus of the Andes Mountains, in altitudes of up to 4400 metres, the plant is exposed to extreme climatic conditions. To thrive in these conditions, the plant has to be very hardy and contain a large amount of nutrients.

For centuries it’s multi-acting health properties have been part of the treasure of knowledge of the Incas who revered its revitalising and aphrodisiac effect.

With over 60 different nutrients, Maca contains one of the most amount of phyto-nutirents in the plant kingdom.

The dried roots contain 13 to 16% proteins and are rich in essential amino acids and omega-3 fatty acids, which support the body in all important metabolic processes. Maca also contains a high amount of  antioxidants, helping to reduce the oxidative stress in the body.

Maca is rich in calcium and zinc, iodine, iron, copper and manganese. Vitamins B2, B5, C and niacin give Maca its energy boosting properties.

Ashwaganda

Ashwagandha (withania somnifera) is a plant widely used in Ayurvedic medicine. It improves athletic performance, reduces tiredness and improves sleep.

Tribulus terrestris

Tribulus terrestris (Gokshura) is an Ayurvedic herb known to stimulate the production of pituitary luteinising hormone. These hormones in turn stimulate the body's own production of testosterone, and leading to an increase in testosterone levels in the blood.
