Traditionally used in Ayurveda for sore joints and muscles, Mahanarayan oil is a blend of 37 Ayurvedic herbs in a base of pure organic sesame oil.
Mahanarayana oil is also very beneficial for pacifying excess Vata through its restorative action on the mind and body.
To soothe joints and muscles simply apply warm Mahanarayan oil to affected areas morning and evening. Self-massage of the whole body with Mahanarayan oil for at least 15 minutes once a week is restorative and strengthening and beneficial for anyone feeling debilitated by overwork or wishing to prevent the effects of stress and overwork.
Mahanarayan is an ideal massage oil to support joints and muscles and it is also great as a general massage oil for Vata types.
We make our oils in the traditional Ayurvedic way which means that a full 250g of herbs are used to make each litre of oil. We have tried many different brands of Mahanarayan oil and we truly believe ours to be the best around!
